NAAVI NOIR, 10

Le Noir Este Beau

Naavi Noir is a 10 year French immersion student, whose passion is arts, music, culture and sports, but her greater passion is to figure out a way to change the way the world has viewed the color "BLACK”.

So with the help of her mother Noval Noir we created, Le noir este beau. The French phrase “black is beautiful” referred to a broad embrace of black culture and identity. It called for an appreciation of the black past as a worthy legacy, and it inspired cultural pride in contemporary black achievements. The color black has been used to symbolize evil, grief, villain, bad luck and hurt. So Naavi has set out to show you that black is beautiful through her clothing designs and art.
